Today we took Sophie to the Children's Festival of Reading put on bythe Knox County Public Libraries. She had agood time, though we missed seeing the author of Skippyjon Jones, Judy Schachner who was scheduled to be there. There were a lot of activities for the kids, like arts and crafts, music and storytelling, plus some special characters from PBS and some local events. Of course, Sophie had the most fun in the public fountain getting very wet, unfortunately we forgo the bathing suit, but no worries......
