Solstice Bonfire

We had to postpone our Solstice bonfire from Tuesday night until Saturday because of the rain. So last night we lit it and it was a lovely one as usual, thanks to David. We had only family here but that turned out to be a blessing having them all here. Plus two of the kid's friends.

We made s'mores and even had some drumming between Emily, Laura, Saed and myself. :)

The fire was spectacular I got some great shots of the flames and light.

The altar with the sun wheel I made of grapvine looked awesome.

Daily Yoga Check In

Boy, I would really love to do yoga on the beach. Maybe one day I will get there and find out what it's like to be so near to the Great Mother of us all~the ocean. Yoga this morning was great, after all the walking at the festivals yesterday, I am a little sore and the yoga stretching was wonderful after I got through the initial stiffness. It's a beautiful day. Tonight is my circle's Summer Solstice celebration, so I will have a post on that tomorrow. Blessings.

Finally, Solstice pictures from my circle's solstice gathering. This was on Sunday evening, we had our feast on Saturday, but didn't get to the bonfire until then. It was a blast! Everyone had a great time. Sophie enjoyed leading the dance around the Solstice fire. :)
