Sophie Jane is Four!

My little one is four years old today. It is hard to believe it's already been so long. It seems just yesterday that I brought her up from the birthing pool onto my breast. What a joyous moment! Her daddy and her older sisters were there to greet her. Her grandparents were waiting in the family room.

Sophie is such a lovely girl. She is growing up so fast. She is clever and funny and amazingly intelligent. She wants to know about everything and has some pretty big ideas about the world already.

Today we are going to the library and the Children's museum and of course the ice cream shop. Sophie's "big" party, as she calls it, is planned for Saturday so that all her friends can come. She is such a social butterfly and loves her friends, of all ages. She is happy to have lots of people around her.

What a blessings and a joy Sophie has been. Happy birthday my darling girl.
