On Saturday we had Sophie's fourth birthday party. She had 22 guests, only seven of them were children. It came to my attention just how many people love my little girl. What a blessing. Sophie enjoyed it all so much. She was a gracious and well-behaved birthday girl too.
This is her own pose, when someone said to "look cute" for the picture. :)

This is a priceless look that she gets on her face every year while the birthday song is being sung to her. She just seems so amazed and pleased that everyone is singing to her.
She informed me that she wants to take "singing classes" so this gift was especially appreciated. She's been using the microphone endlessly.
A life size baby doll was
on the wish list, "like they have a the museum". She was thrilled! It is now called Lindsay.
She was so excited waiting for dad to roll out the last surprise. She could hardly contain herself.
A Little Mermaid scooter!!!!! Oh my!!! She has been tearing around the house on it since. :)
What a lovely birthday party. We owe a great debt of gratitude to our friends, who helped so much in this time of financial struggle. Sophie would not have had such a wonderful party if it had not been for them. Thanks guys. We love you all.
