Well, for the time being, it looks like I won't be off line. Yeah! Thanks to all of you who left the encouraging comments. They really meant a lot to me. 
We have just finished enjoying our fourth day of rain. Looks like our gardens will come up nice a healthy, if we can just get a little sunshine now....please...Goddess. I am working hard on garden plans for the transformation to urban homestead. Hee Hee. I cannot wait! It so exciting to think that we could possibly grow our own food, at least a lot of it, right here in our yard in the city, small one though it is. We have a lot that is a little larger than most typical ones. We have just under a third of an acre, including the house. So we have plenty of room for gardens galore!

We try to remember how much the garden needs the rain when it keeps us inside. I can't wait to hear more about your garden/homestead plans.
We love to grow our own as well.
