Tomorrow's Plans

Tomorrow, March 3RD is the Japanese Doll's Festival (Hinamatsuri). Sine David was born in Tokyo, and has always had a love of Japanese culture and design, I thought it would be fun to hold an Americanized version of Doll's Festival with Sophie tomorrow. I'm thinking of gathering all of the dolls in the house, that's a lot, and having a lovely tea party. Reading a couple of Japanese stories, and playing some music by Ki taro. David's mom has several Japanese pieces that he and then Sophie will someday inherit, including several dolls. I am looking for the pictures that we have of those and then I will post them, they are magnificently detailed. I will post pictures and details of what we do tomorrow. I am looking forward to it and think it will be great fun and a way to learn a little more about Japanese culture.
