Well, Sophie and I had a little tea party for her dolls. We used her new spring tea set. She enjoyed getting dressed up in her Japanese inspired clothing. Her dad took pictures of her and I, and we told her about daddy being born in Japan. Then daddy and I shared a moment of prayer and good wishes for Sophie's future. Here are some of the pictures, we had Kitaro playing

How fun and those are some wonderful pics of Sophie!
How very lovely. My Gram was an avid collector of antique dolls. She had one that was as tall as I was when I was 4 years old. Unfortunately, they were in storage up in Michigan a couple years ago when the building caught fire and destroyed every one of the dolls. Nothing was salvageable from the destruction. Several of them were supposed to have come to me when my dad dies, but that is not meant to be. My Gram would call me Dolly as her pet name for me. I miss hearing that sweet voice calling me that. She will have been passed into the Summerlands March 13th, 1997 and not a day goes by that I don't think of her.
Thank you for sharing your dolly day. Blessings to your family.
Wonderful!
Looks like you had a lovely time together.
I love a good tea party...Xxx
