
I am so enjoying yoga. It is really amazing, but all the benefits that I've read about from doing yoga, I am actually feeling after only a week of practice. You begin to feel taller, straighter, fitter. You will become more aware of the rhythm of your breath, and deepen your breathing in order to relax yourself. You experience a new positive outlook that becomes more permanent. Emotions even out. (It has helped with my PMS tremendously.) You find strength and confidence to live your dreams and beyond! OK, that was straight out of the book I got from the library, but for the most part it really is true. I feel great! I got three great yoga books from the library, "Yoga for Women-Health and Radiant Beauty for every stage of Life", "The Woman's Book of Yoga & Health-A Lifelong Guide to Wellness", and "The Book of Yoga-Bringing Body, mind and spirit into balance and harmony". (These are available on Amazon.com) All three are amazing and are so full of helpful info and clearly illustrated poses. Plus they explain the whole yoga lifestyle in detail. I am having so much fun. I can see yoga going along with me on the rest of my life's path.
