Water....sacred water

Thought I would repost these delicious recipes for naturally flavoured waters that I posted last July. What with the sweltering hot days and my decision to give up Diet Coke, I have been drinking a lot of water. And though I have always loved fresh filtered water, I can get bored with the bland taste sometimes. So here's to getting that fresh water and having it tasty too.

Spa Water

1 gallon cold water
5 slices fresh lemon
5 slices fresh cucumber

Place all ingredients in a pitcher and serve. For a stronger flavor let the pitcher stand in the refrigerator for an hour or more.

Mint Infused Water

1 gallon cold water
1/2 bunch of fresh mint

Cut and remove stems from fresh mint. Wash mint. Add mint to pitcher, fill with cold water. For a stronger flavor, break mint leaves to release flavor.

Pineapple~Orange Water

1 gallon cold water
1 cup fresh pineapple, cut into cubes
5 slices fresh orange

Place pineapple and orange into pitcher. Lightly mash with a spoon to releases juices. Add cold water. refrigerate for one hour and serve.

(Enjoy and stay away from those artificially sweetened waters. Nature's way is much better for you. These recipes were lovingly lifted from
the Laptop Lunch Times Newsletter.)

I especially like the idea of the lemon cucumber....I always do the lemon slices, but I'm gonna try cucumber too now.
Actually, I'm gonna try them all!
Thanks for sharing this gift of rehydration!!!
