I Dreamed of a White Christmas

This is what we got in between the two snows. Ice! It is so beautiful if cold and dangerous. This was the last week of school before the winter break and some schools began their break early because of it.

This is a photo of the dogwood tree off of the carport.

Here is the pine in the back yard, each needle covered in a sheath of ice. So pretty.

Another dogwood.....looks like it has crystals hanging from it.

We have not had snow on Christmas since I was a child, not more than a dusting or even just flurries. But this year we had two to four inches from Solstice to Christmas. It was wonderful, especially for Sophie, she had a marvelous time with it.

If you click on this one, you can see the dusting of snow in her hair. So pretty.

This is what greeted me early on Christmas morning.
