My daughter's fiance, who is from Palestine, brought this delightful Middle Eastern dish to me this evening. It is called Fattoush, a bread and vegetable salad,and though he has not given me the recipe I did find one online, that sounds pretty close. It was so delicious, a cold salad that uses the summer veggies that are ripening right now. Yum! This is definitely going to show up at future gatherings at my house. Find a recipe here. I don't think the one I have had green onion or green pepper.

That recipe looks like it'll only make one serving he used like 7 tomatoes. anyway. we went to the holy land market and i was talking to one of the owners and she was like different middle eastern countries have a diff way of making everything and they all think they are right. lol. she makes 5 or 7 different kinds of hummus there. because everyone makes it a diff way. her fatoush has fetta cheese and something else in it. i'm getting him to make you some the way he makes it for ur birthday.
