Spring Projects

Here are a couple of recent spring projects that we have been working on around the house. First, the after the spring cover on the trampoline disintegrated last year, David has been working on a creative way to cover and pad the springs, and he came up with this! Fun-Noodles! He cut them to the size of the springs, unhooked the springs, and then fitted the fun noodle over them, and voila! Instant cover, at a cost of about $5 or less. Not to mention it is just so colorful and fun! I have a very innovative and creative hubby.

Our trampoline has become the hit of the neighborhood, with most of the kids around here coming to play.

Monday afternoon, Sophie and I repainted her little vintage wooden chairs. She chose purple and pink, of course, her two favorite colors, to match her Dora table. She did a really good job of painting. I got more paint on me than she did. LOL You can see the green and orange that the chairs used to be in this next photo. (Please ignore the messy family room, I swear it doesn't look like that now, really)
