Hello old friends. I have been away from the blogging world for some time now. I have missed keeping in touch with those of you who regularly commented and on whose blogs I read. I hope to get back into blogging regularly again.
So much has happened since the last time I blogged. In December my little poppet, Sophie celebrated her fifth birthday. (can it be?) She had a lovely time and enjoyed it all.
Solstice and Christmas were special and magical times and we all enjoyed much gathering with family and friends.
But sadly on the day after Christmas, my grandmother passed away. She was 88 years old, the matriarch of a large 100+ family. She was a wonderful woman and much loved by all who knew her. ( This photo was taken last Christmas.) We are all so thankful that we were able to celebrate this last one with her an to say our goodbyes.
Finally, last Sunday, one of my aunt's passed away at age 58. She will be missed greatly by her husband, children and grandchildren. Such a blow to our family tree.
On a happier note.....I will have some exciting news in a couple of weeks. Stay tuned.......
