Brrrrr!!!!!!

I am dreaming of summer. It is so cold!!! Brrrr!!! I really am not enjoying it much. Besides the fact that we NEVER have snow in east Tennessee. I just can't do most of the things that I enjoy most in the winter. I try, really, I do. But I find very little to make me happy about winter. I know that Mother Nature uses the winter months to rest and rejuvenate before the hard work of the spring and summer. And I appreciate that, its just.....well...I guess it comes down to how spoiled we humans are when it comes to climate control. Geez. I am going to work on that.
On the bright side, having to walk Katy in all kinds of weather has brought my attention to some beautiful things that I otherwise would have missed. Wild animals in the early morning, the gorgeous full moon setting in the early morning sky, along with Venus brightly shining.
I have also continued with my yoga routine. Yeah! I am so excited. I feel so much better and more flexible and strong. David is happy that I have begun again too. :)

It is cold here too. I like winter, but I don't like the inability to be outside, and the risk of frostbite in like 11 minutes. AUGH. REady for some spring. Back to my seed catalogs to dream! ;)

I've been doing better on the daily yoga too. Started with the more slow poses and stretching to get my body ready. Doing ok!

Oh gosh, I'm so with you. It gets to be this time of year and I am just over it! Temps are expected in the teens Thurs and Fri here in middle KY. And let's not even talk about wind chill. Sigh. It's hard to accept the cycles of nature without complaint sometimes.

I totally agree with your sentiments regarding winter, it's not my favourite season either. Sometimes it looks pretty - even spectacular-but if i'm totally honest i think i appreciate it much more when i'm looking at all the beauty from behind my windows in a lovely warm room and the fire roaring! The days are getting longer now though. R does P.E. club on a monday and tuesday after school, it seemed like i'd been collecting her from school in the dark for the longest time but when i left the house on tuesday it was still daylight! The streetlight wasn't even on! Yippee! Spring is just around the corner! I can't wait! xXx
