What am I thankful for? I am so thankful for my family; my soul mate, David, my children; Laura, Emily, Jonathan, Joshua and Sophie. My parents and brother and sister. I am thankful for the blessing of knowing all four of my grandparents. I am thankful for my friends, my chosen family. Dawn, Mari, Mare, Astarte. I am thankful for the beautiful home that I live in, for my health and all of the love in my life. I am thankful for my pets and the comfort and love they give. I am thankful for the ability to continue learning, for being able to reach beyond my upbringing and strive for more. I am thankful for the food on my table, provided by our Mother Earth. I am thankful for the ability to work and make a living to care for my family. I am thankful for books, and for art and for music. Those things that bring us so much pleasure in life. I am thankful for the beauty of my life, for every sunrise and every sunset. For the rain and for the falling leaves. I am thankful for the life that the Goddess has given me. Have a very blessed Thanksgiving.

We don't have thanksgiving over here but the idea of a day when you stop and give thanks for everything you've been blessed with in your life is a good one. I wonder how many people give thanks for the REALLY important things as oppossed to those who give thanks for the things that material wealth have brought them? I don't mean thanks for food on the table and roof overhead, more the biggest fastest go faster car that guzzles 3 miles per tank full? When will people realise whats really important? Before it's too late to do something about it hopefullly!
I am thankful for a beautiful home that I share with my perfect husband and my beautiful Piggy and Gary and Tina. I am thankful for my chosen family of Yarrow, Dawn, Mari, Shanna, my girls, and the kids *all of my sister's children. I am grateful for having a job that I really enjoy. I am grateful for a car to get my husband and I to work. I'm grateful that I can share my bounty with those I love. I'm thankful for being able to breathe, move about without pain, walk anywhere I'm so inclined, see with eyes not cloudy nor in need of glasses. I'm thankful I can speak my mind whenever I want to, that I don't live in fear of a bomb going off on the way to the grocery. I'm thankful I can worship as I wish. I'm grateful for who I've become and everything that's tried to take me away from this world. I'm grateful for everything I have and I rarely forget to remember the love of everything the Goddess gives to me. To sum it all up, I'm filled with Thanksgiving everyday which brings me untold joy and happiness.
