This afternoon Sophie and I created a scarecrow for the sunflowers. We want the seeds to be allowed to ripen fully before the birds take their share. Sophie decided that the scarecrow should be a girl, because 'we' are girls. Three year old logic at work. Made sense to me, so here she is. What fun!

There is nothing I love more than watching her learn about the world around her. I couldn't think of a more down-to-earth woman to teach her the power that is to be explored. You fascinate me with the way you are.
I love Sunflowers, so do the parrots. I plan to put some in this spring.
