Sophie was gifted with a new 'old' bike by her dad. It is painted in a 60's retro style with almost a salmon pink color and flowers,peace symbols and smiley face stickers on it. It now also has a basket, by request on the front. She is enjoying feeling like a big girl and is already dreaming of the day when she can ride on the street with her brothers. LOL
On Sunday evening we attended the Boomsday fireworks. Having slept through he Fourth of July local fireworks, we didn't want Sophie to miss out on seeing these. Its a pretty big deal, even advertised in some national magazines. We only went down for the fireworks, but there is a whole days worth of events and activities for families. Maybe next year.....
Our view was over a city parking lot. We really should have gotten closer, but it worked.....
