The one who started it all.I realized early this morning that this summer will mark two very huge milestones in my life. First is my fortieth birthday in July, which I have posted once about. And then also there is the tenth "anniversary" of my beginning on the Goddess Path. Wow! Really major and big to me and I would love to mark them in some special fashion. Needless to say, I will be doing some more thinking about it and would welcome any suggestions for celebrations that use as little money and earth resources as possible. Thanks.

What great milestones!
For my 40th, I did what I have done on every birthday for 15 years. By candlelight, I write all of the past negative things of the year on little slips of paper and burn them. Focusing on letting that all go. Then I write all the good things, dreams, goals, and positive energies on other little slips of paper and put them in my 'birthday box', which is a beautiful hand carved wood box that I found long ago. Each year I also read what I left in the box from the year before.
Makes me sit and think, a meditation, so to speak, of each year. Mindfullness.

You need to have a festival of YOU!
In the backyard.
Everyone brings a plate.
You do nothing except say "Thank-you!" alot...
Can I come?
(P.S. I still don't believe you'll be 40.)Xxx
