Finding Balance

I am working on finding a balance in my life and all of the diverse things I have to do, need to do, and want to do. I have always been one who jumps into a new adventure with both feet and immersed myself for ever how long the fever had me. But then a while later, I would discover that I was neglecting other very important parts of my life. Other things, hobbies, people, my home, that I love and wanted to do right by. Now I find that I am in that position again. I am loving this blogging thing. However, I find that I may be spending too much time reading others blogs, not that I am not learning a lot and being quite inspired, but I realized that I may have been living vicariously through other people. I really hate that. I want to live my own life, not someone else's. So in that vein, my blog viewing is going to be edited. I am also going to make a list of the things I want to make time for, like, my family & friends, my spirituality, yoga, hiking, home keeping, gardening, knitting, among others. And then work out a schedule,( ugh, I detest schedules, alas, I see no other way to get what I want/need). A schedule that will provide time at least on a regular basis for all that I love. It may not be everyday for most things, that is where the prioritizing comes in, but I think that this is the way to approach this balance thing. Wish me luck. More to come.......
